Philips can now export resting ECG’s in DICOM format that enables easy compatibility between PACS solutions and the Philips PageWriter series of cardiographs.
The Philips cardiograph implements the necessary DICOM services to search and retrieve worklists (lists of orders) from information systems and save ECG waveform objects to network storage systems. Philips brings vendor-neutral interoperability without the complexity and added interface costs of HL7 interface engine or Datamed Format Translater.
